Grace for Individual and Family Therapy

I combine psychology to learn about people then use common sense and Biblical tools to teach people to change their thinking. I have a 100% success rate with counselees that stick with me until I say we’re done. Of course, counselees are always welcome to come back whenever they need. I have specifically helped with PTSD, Borderline Personality, Anxiety, and of course Couples and Family counseling. I can teach parenting skills at any stage.
My counseling is focused on the individual. I learn who the individual is both through assessments and getting to know them. Then I tailor what I teach to both their makeup, needs, and issues that they come to counseling with. I can help couples who love each other but are different enough that they don’t know how to get along.
I also specialize in teaching communication. Our society does not teach good communication skills. With the skills I teach, couples and families can eliminate fighting altogether over time.
As a counselor and as an author it is my calling and my passion to minister. That means that my focus is on helping people not to make money. As a matter of fact, I don’t ever charge for my counseling services but of course appreciate gifts. I have a five star ranking on Google.
As an author I am focused on helping people to improve their lives through their relationship to God. My first book “How to be a Christian in Today’s World: Shame or Fear of Failure vs. Living Confidently in God’s Love” has helped many people to learn or remember that they have intrinsic value people that God chose to create to be in relationship with. I also show that as we grow in accepting God’s love that we will become better Christians instead of having to work harder to be better Christians.
Discipleship would be a good word for what I do through my books and blog, but it goes beyond that to helping people to develop a truly close relationship with the creator of the universe, remembering that He also created each of us individually and specifically. I also want people to be able to live through the struggles of life without having to suffer. I want to teach them how to live with the knowledge that they are securely in God’s hand. This makes the temporal suffering we have here less meaningful as we, like Paul, learn to let our weakness be His strength. Only through doing this can we truly be free from suffering. Pain is one thing, but suffering is completely unnecessary.
I have more books coming out soon and will also be starting a Marriage Coaching program very soon. I have a true passion for seeing people and couples love and like each other instead of just being roommates with benefits.
