Founder Chris Hales is a talented stylist and buyer, with a sharp eye for superb fabric, cut and tailoring. Her own label Goodness focuses on essential pieces that make the perfect foundation for a wardrobe and exciting dresses in statement prints that make the wearer feel feminine and fabulous.
Goodness has stores on historic Jackson Street, Petone and College Street, the coolest little street in Wellington City. Large well-lit changerooms are a feature of Goodness and accessible changerooms are available in both stores.
College Street is a must-see for the fashionable visitor, with the Goodness flagship store along with attractions including the renowned Caffe L’affare, pet treat specialist Smack Bang, artisan food market Moore Wilson, Chop Hair Design and an array of homewares and interiors stores.
Most items are available online at or online at Goodness.co.nz, but look out for special items that arrive in-store and sell out before they’re even able to be presented online. So it’s definitely worthwhile to call in and check the range on a regular basis to see what’s new and what’s hot.
