Gary Holpin Photography

I’m a self taught photographer, and one who has come to photography relatively late in my career. My story starts by first falling in love with Devon, the place that I call home, through walking all 630 miles of its beautiful coastline along the South West Coast Path National Trail not once, but twice. This love for the Devon scenery led me into teaching myself photography simply to try to do justice to this amazing natural beauty through the medium of photography. This in turn has led to a new passion; that of photography itself, and trying to perfect it as an art form and a creative outlet.

These joint passions, for the landscape of the place that I live, and for photography, led me into photography as a profession, as well as now driving the ethos of my commercial services.

Whether it be taking landscape photos for my next book, taking promotional photos for local businesses, or teaching others how to take better photos, my passion for photography and drive for perfection in all that I do means that clients always get excellent value for money.

I believe that my passion for Devon, and for photography comes through in my services. Feedback from training clients seem to support this, with more than one student providing feedback saying that my passion for the subject was ‘inspiring’.

As a result of the love for the place that I live, I am pretty unique as a professional photographer specialising almost entirely in the landscapes, and the businesses of Devon alone. In addition, a background in customer service roles in my previous career has given me all the tools to make sure those clients invariably leave glowing reviews.

Diib Reviews by our featured members:

"It gives someone like me, with limited technical skills in improving website and social channel performance a chance to make some initial improvements without having to pay huge amounts to specialists to even get started. Once I have a better understanding of the basics, I will be able to make more informed choices about the additional paid support that I might need."
