On a visit to Siena in 2013 Judith saw a pair of velvet reading glasses and bought them. This was the seed of an idea that germinated and grew into Funkyreaders. Martin and Judith sourced European fashion brands of reading glasses and eyewear travelling to Milan and Paris to attend trade shows where partnerships were formed with European companies.
Funkyreaders now sell those brands and their own brands globally through their website.
A decision was made to take Funkyreaders on the road and we now exhibit at major international shows up and down the country.
Our Customer base includes men and women who are looking for something different from their eyewear. Several celebrities and even a member of the Royal Family have bought from Funkyreaders.
Reading glasses should be exciting fashionable, cool and trendy. Good quality products at sensible prices and this sets us apart from our competitors.
