Therefore it is vitally important for a student to have a competent and qualified teacher, because the beginning teacher can “make or break” a pianist. The total of one’s training, background, personality, and motivation are combined to produce a skilled professional. We have been providing piano lessons in Monmouth County New Jersey for more than 30 years since 1991. We specialize in all levels of play from beginners through college level and provide lessons to children of all playing levels; but we are one of only a few schools that have teachers in New Jersey that are experts with Adult and Senior beginners as well.
We hold regular private recitals. we are members of the New Jersey Music Teachers Association (MTNA) and affiliated with the Royal Academy of Music. Through these institutions we offer competitive play, national or regional recitals, theory examinations, and evaluations that allow student to obtain an objective assessment of themselves and our teaching. We recognize that adults feel deprived that they never took lessons when they were young, or they just have a love of music and want to learn more about it, and we teach all forms of music including Classical, Jazz, Rock, and Pop. We tailor our lessons to meet an individuals needs and focus on the type of music they want to play.
