The inspiration for this website came after two sets of experiences that the founder faced during his academic journey. The first was a terrible experience during his master’s degree in a private university. The website for the university was overall good and very few reviews were available about the campus. But, after the admission process, I realized that the particular department was not worth studying in but, couldn’t get myself transferred to another department or take TC. With awful professors and lack of infrastructure, the learning process during the degree never happened in this university. The second experience was when I came across a professor, who changed my life for the better. Dedicated, eccentric, and humble, the professor went above and beyond to help students realize and achieve their dreams. Not only I drastically improved my professional skills but also was successful in landing my dream job under this professor’s guidance. Realizing that there are multiple schools and universities in the country which run only for-profit and never considers the future of the student seriously and lack of recognition of faculties who are the pillars of the education system lead to the creation of students-voice.com. This platform will help the student community to get real reviews about the particular department, professor, and campus, which in turn will help them make an informed decision about their higher studies.
