Our menswear and womenswear designs are renown for being fashion forward. Our original artwork is printed on limited lengths of textiles and all printed in the UK. We also source British milled fabrics as much as possible, thus supporting a homegrown independent fashion ecosystem. We believe in slow fashion are fiercely anti mass production for environmental reasons. All our garments are handcrafted in house with our artisan skilled team, making Disorder a truely made in Britain brand.

With academic roots in Politics,Sociology, Development and Art, Disorders’ founders started their vertically integrated experimental fashion business in 1998. Throughout the years they have won many awards and accolades, including from Mary Portas, who stated that ”Disorder is the cleverest and best small business she has seen in years. And that Disorders’ designs remind her of a cross between Alexander Macqueen and Vivien Westwood but with their own destinctive edge.

As self taught designers, our designs are intuitive and unconventional, giving it a distinct, ‘Disorder,’ edge. This appeals to those who crave for individuality and quality without having to pay high end prices to express themselves. We offer one of a kind bespoke tailoring service where specific requests for alterations, made to measure sizes, fabric, colour combinations etc, can be made on our non-conformist tailored suits, waistcoats, jackets and coats.

We had a destination store for 22 years in Birmingham city centre which we have now shut as a response to the pandemic. Disorder has carried on trading through our online site and has remained niche and underground. We now operating from our converted garage studio, maintaining the highly exclusive feel that the brand has always had in its DNA.
