In addition to Newark, our Delaware service areas include Hockessin, Yorklyn, Greenville, Wilmington Pike Creek, Bear, and New Castle. Our Pennsylvania service areas include Landenberg, parts of Kennett Square and Avondale. We also provide service in parts of Elkton, Maryland near the Delaware line.

The business was started by Claudia Todd in the spring of 2008. Since then, we have exponentially grown to over 900 clients and 20 staff members. Families adopting a rescue dog or getting a puppy during the pandemic has caused a recent surge in our business as families now need care for their pets after returning to work in the office.

Claudia’s husband Jed works full time in the company handling the in-home kennel alternative and cage free dog boarding service called “guest pup”. This service is ideal for senior dogs who would not do well in a noisy kennel operation or for younger more active dogs and puppies that need a lot of exercise. We have access to a 10 acre off leash dog park and pond for off leash running and swimming.

Since over half of our clients are cats and kittens our son Shawn who has a special love for kitties works full time for us too.

We provide care for all types of pets, dogs and puppies including fish, birds, and exotic pets. Some of the specialized exotic pets we have pet sit and cared for are, ducks, hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, sugar gliders, ferrets, rabbits, lizards, turtles, tortoises, and many other domesticated and pocket pets. We are also called to care for farm animals including horses, chickens, pygmy goats, guinea hens, and more. For pets that are cared for in your home and do not like to be home alone, you can add our “pet pajama party” to any pet sitting service in your home and one of our pet loving staff will spend the night in your home.

Since opening for business, we have provided pet care every day of the year including holidays. We pride ourselves on never canceling a client’s service booking. We often get frantic calls from pet parents because their part time Rover pet sitter or dog walker canceled service at the last-minute jeopardizing their vacation plans. Our 20 professional pet care providers assure there is always a back up pet sitter or dog walker available. We use specialized pet care software that utilizes GPS tracking, so we always know that all pets are being cared for. And unlike many pet care companies, we do not charge a fee to pay invoices with a credit card and we only bill you after services are provided. We also do not charge extra for administering medications to most animals.

Getting started is simple, just request a free meet and greet and one of the owners will meet with you and your pets to go over their care routines, we will then get you set up on your scheduling and invoicing app. Then the important part, RELAX while you are at work or vacation while our pet care professionals provide love and care for your pets.
