Founded in 2020, BOMME STUDIO provides the only 360° solution to launch an ethical and sustainable clothing line in the USA. With our fashion business tools, customizable premium blanks, digital marketing, and fulfillment services, we are the only company in the market that can do it all. As a contract clothing manufacturer, we believe in fair labor and sustainable business practices and our mission is to provide high-quality ethical labor for clothing brands and fashion designers that want to revolutionize the fashion supply chain both domestically and beyond.

In our commitment to ethical labor and sustainable business practices within the garment industry, our CEO, Bo Metz, co-sponsored a bill in the State of California SB62 with Senator Maria Elena Durazo (D) and The Garment Worker Center to end piece-rate labor for garment workers and create upstream corporate responsibility within the supply chain. Piece-rate labor is often code language for sweatshop business practices. The average garment worker existing on piece-rate wages in Los Angeles can sometimes only make about $150.00 a week. In 2021, BOMME STUDIO co-sponsored, championed and passed legislation to end this.

Being in the heart of the apparel manufacturing hub of the United States in Downtown LA’s fashion district we promote sustainability by partnering with domestic mills all located within a 10 mile radius of our location. Sourcing and working locally here in the Los Angeles Fashion District is not only an efficient use of carbon and energy but also supports one of the last and largest strongholds of garment manufacturing in the USA. Additionally, we donate 1% of all digital sales to carbon offset programs worldwide to help combat climate change.

From the materials we use to the people we work with, everything at BOMME STUDIO is done with the planet in mind. We offer a range of made-to-order and ready-to-wear garments for both men and women that are ethically produced using sustainable practices and materials. All of our clothing is produced in our Downtown LA studio using sustainable materials such as deadstock fabric, organic cotton, vegan cactus leather and more. We work closely with our fabric mills to ensure that all of our materials are sourced sustainably and ethically.

We also offer all our clients a sustainable resource guide provides contacts to over 60 domestic suppliers of fabric, trim and hardware. The goal is to make it easy for brands to source sustainable materials and ultimately create a more sustainable supply chain.
