Since 1976, Bold Earth has inspired teens to make every summer an adventure, creating memories and friendships that last a lifetime on our outdoor expedition and travel programs.

On our teen adventure travel camps students live in small groups of up to 12 other kids and two professional trip leaders and have the opportunity to challenge themselves and grow their leadership skills while making close friends and having fun.
Teens ages 13-18 enroll in our unique trips from across the globe with all levels of experience in the outdoors and adventure activities. Our professional trip leaders inspire students to jump outside their comfort zones, meet and reunite with friends, and above all: have a blast trying something new. Not your typical teen tour, Bold Earth students come out with real-life skills (read more about how Bold Earth programs foster 21st-century skills here).
Bold Earth students travel all over the world. Some of our programs are outdoor camping programs for youth, and some have blended lodging (hotels, eco-lodges, homestays). Some programs are teen hiking and backpacking trips, while others are focused more on community service and cultural immersion. Bold Earth operates adventure trips for teens to California, Colorado, Hawaii, the Grand Canyon, Iceland, Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Galapagos, the Alps, South Africa, Kilimanjaro and Tanzania, Croatia, Thailand, and Fiji!
