Bohemama Clothing

I am owner and creator of Bohemama Clothing. After I had my third bub, I struggled a lot to find clothing that worked for my new mum bod. I realised that if I was having so much trouble finding clothing there would be a lot of other mums our there having the same issue. This mum gig is hard enough without struggling to get dressed every day.

So I approached my mum Allison, an entrepreneur in her own right, with my design concepts and she reconnected with her contacts in Indonesia. We had our samples within about 2 weeks. After that we hit the ground running, designing the website and launching just before Christmas 2018. I love making bright, fun boho clothing that helps women feel like themselves again.

I am passionate about designing clothing that is size inclusive (we are expanding our plus size range this season, going up to a size 24AU), affordable and ethically made. We support 3 families in Indonesia with our business and we have recently planted banana trees to help feed the community during Covid. Indonesia have been hit hard during Covid, so we have helped with medical costs and food, provided sewing machines and training to young mums without a job.

Our goal is to help mums feel confident to breastfeeding and help make their journey that bit easier. If we can help mums feed for longer by providing funky clothing that is easy, discreet and makes them feel great in their new mum bod, then that is exactly why we are in business.
