Throughout my career, I have made a variety of glass art belt buckles, but I often found it challenging to locate the blank hardware needed to complete my designs. This led me to realize that there were likely others in the same predicament, and I became determined to find a solution.
I eventually founded Best Belt Buckles, a company that caters to crafters, makers, and collectors of belt buckles. Our offerings include snap-on style belt buckle blank hardware and unique belts to match. These snap-on style belt buckles can easily be removed from the belt and replaced with another buckle, allowing artists from a range of backgrounds to create wearable art from their own creations.
At Best Belt Buckles, we offer seven different size/style options for our snap-on style belt buckle hardware, ranging from 1″ to 2″ loops to suit various needs. In addition, we have two styles of snap-on belts to choose from. Most snap-on belts available on the market today are made of heavy leather or “vegan leather,” which can be cumbersome and uncomfortable to wear. Our belts, on the other hand, are made of lightweight cloth webbing and feature a strong Velcro closure instead of snaps. Our hybrid version combines cloth webbing with a leather end that includes snaps. Both options offer a comfortable and practical alternative to traditional snap-on belts.
