Baby Jewels is, at its heart, a family story. It started back in 2009 on the beautiful Sunshine Coast in Queensland, created by a grandmother inspired by the joy of her three little granddaughters. With the support of her daughters—one bringing endless ideas and motivation, and the other building a beautiful and efficient website—Jennifer brought Baby Jewels to life, hoping to share that joy with other families.
The idea was simple but heartfelt: to find beautiful, safe, and affordable jewellery for babies and children so parents, grandparents, and friends could mark milestones, celebrate special days, and add a little sparkle to everyday moments. Over the years, Jennifer worked hard to source a wide range of jewellery for new-borns, toddlers, and older children, ensuring each piece was safe and made with care. She even added a collection for mothers, with jewellery to celebrate the journey of pregnancy and motherhood, recognising how special those moments are in a woman’s life.
After 16 dedicated years, Jennifer decided it was time to retire, and in 2025, Baby Jewels passed to her daughter, Laine, keeping the business within the family. Laine has now taken on the role of continuing her mother’s vision, bringing her own ideas while honouring everything that has been built. The two little girls in the photo that inspired the business are now teenagers, and one day, they may even take over the family business themselves.
Baby Jewels has always been about more than jewellery. It’s about capturing moments in childhood that pass so quickly. It’s about giving parents and grandparents the opportunity to buy something special that will appear in family photos for years to come, reminding them of the sweet, small moments that make up a childhood.
We’ve spent years carefully choosing each piece in our collection—from baby bracelets, anklets, and earrings to children’s necklaces, charms, and special gifts for mothers. We are especially proud of our wide range of high-quality, solid gold heirloom jewellery pieces that make perfect keepsakes for commemorating important milestones and celebrating special occasions such as baptisms, christenings, and birthdays, offering timeless pieces that can be treasured for generations.
