Founded in 2014, our mission is to share the love of aviation. We are proud of our mission to support and share the stories of aviation professionals and companies around the globe.
Avgeekery covers airlines, military, and general aviation news from an informed perspective. We also love sharing unique aviation history, particularly stories that are so unique that even the most ardent ‘avgeeks’ haven’t heard of it before. We’ve covered everything from World War I and World War II aviation, to classic airlines like Mohawk Airlines, TWA, Piedmont, PanAm, and National. We also have a special place for the McDonnell Douglas DC-8, DC-9, and MD-80.
In addition to aviation, Avgeekery has recently added extensive coverage of spaceflight to include NASA, SpaceX, rocket launches, and other spaceflight events.
