From a background in electronics manufacturing and quality control in 2004 I quit my job, decided to follow my passion and started my own online business from home doing woodworking and making wooden signs, custom-made boxes and a variety of small timber products with a focus on sustainability. I hate to see wood go to waste, so if I can make something from offcuts or reclaimed timber then perhaps I can save that little bit of extra landfill I am always dreaming up ways to use it.

Over the years my personalised rustic timber signs became my specialty continually getting asked to make them to this day. Most of the wooden signs I make are for outdoor use and feature a uniquely shaped live edge to give the signs more character and appeal.
The custom-made boxes can be time-consuming crafting to the highest level of craftsmanship using hand-cut dovetail joinery, beautiful Australian timbers and hand-polished oil finish.

My woodwork has been sent around the world as I’ve worked on projects for a range of people, some famous book authors, AFL football players and TV personalities.

From an early age, I’ve always been fascinated by how things are made, what makes them work and whether I could make one myself. I also had an interest in nature, trees and the world around me. As the world became more and more electronic I naturally wanted to learn as much as I could about the latest electronic gadget or toys. Having worked in the electronics manufacturing area and as a service technician and then assembly manager, I saw how quickly the latest gadget can become an unwanted piece of landfill, full of toxic plastic and metals that will take years to break down and no longer hold any value. I dreamt of a better life making things that last.

Making things from wood was always a hobby of mine but I began to think about woodworking more and more and learning as much as I could from what was still the relatively new internet at the time. In 2004 I made the leap of faith to start my own business and create a website and haven’t looked back since.

Please visit my website to learn more about the small family-operated business my wife Chelsea and I run from a small town in Australia famous for its timber production and dairy farms.

We aim to please and love receiving compliments about the beautiful signs or boxes our customers receive.
Looking forward to hearing from you and hope to have the chance to create the perfect gift for your loved one. Or spoil yourself with some of the finest wood works available online.
