Communication is a key foundation to our client relationships and we actively encourage clients to pick up the phone, drop us an email or pop in to see us and don’t charge for calls, emails or enquiries.

We host workshops, networking events and roundtable events for our clients to help them push their business and their boundaries. We also have free hot desks available for clients at our offices, free wifi, tea and coffee and sometimes even the office dog to pet and destress…

Derby headquartered and started in a caravan in 2016 by founder and Director, Kevin Drew, Ascentant Accountancy has gone from strength to strength with a growing team and recently launching its second office in Ripley, Derbyshire.

Historically, Accounting Practises tend to be formed in one of two ways. As a result of a demerger from another Accountancy practice or, a startup created by an Accountant who has worked at another practice and taken their clients with them.

Ascentant Accountancy evolved following a unique path. We do not operate as an everyday Accountancy practice, consequently, we don’t refer to our company as a practice.

We offer the full range of Accountancy services for Sole Traders and Limited Companies, including Bookkeeping, Payroll, VAT, Annual Accounts and Tax Returns. We also offer virtual Finance Director services and Business Consultancy and mentoring to Startup’s.

We specialise in providing support to Law Firms across the country by way of Outsourced Legal Cashiering and Regulatory support, for which we are one of a handful or providers to provide this in the country.
