All in the folds is ran by Jo Black, based in South Yorkshire, UK. A Neurodivergent single mum with a house full of animals (currently 5 cats, a dog and a rabbit!) and a lover of everything creative.
“Book folding became popular in the UK during 2014. After finding the art on Pinterest I quickly became addicted (and needed more shelf space for the creations!). With a brain overflowing with ideas I started making my own designs and testing it’s limits. I find the whole process very therapeutic and the finished books are a great dopamine boost and sense of achievement.”
Book folding was attracting other crafters wanting to have a go themselves. All in the folds Facebook group was started https://www.facebook.com/groups/allinthefolds and she made YouTube videos to help beginners with the basics.
The website now offers free book folding patterns, lessons for beginners on how to book fold, hundreds of patterns to purchase and Foldsy® book folding software for those who want to make their own designs come to life.
