Founded in 1978 in Sharjah, UAE, the company now operates over 2,100 pieces of machinery and employs over 3,500 certified operators, expert mechanics, technicians, and engineers. In 2022, Al Marwan expanded its operations by opening two new branches in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and Muscat, Oman, to better serve its clients across the GCC region.
By signing exclusive dealership agreements with global machinery manufacturers, Al Marwan has become the official distributor of genuine KOBELCO, Powerscreen by Terex, Pronar, ABI, Dynapac, and REDLINE by Dynapac equipment for the UAE, Saudi, and Oman markets. The company also supplies OEM machinery attachments including rock breakers, jackhammers, crushing and screening buckets, vibratory piling hammers, among other equipment attachments from brands like Toku, Jisung (JSC), Simex, and World Attachments exclusively as an official agent for the UAE.
Since 2020, the company has 4 yards dedicated to the sale of certified pre owned heavy equipment. Al Marwan only sells machines that they used on their rental projects, meaning that they are able to offer customers full service history records and up-to-date inspection reports conducted by their own expert inspection and diagnostic teams.
Operating such a large fleet of heavy construction equipment means that Al Marwan caters to all kinds of heavy machinery service and maintenance. The company has a 10,000 sq.m specialized machinery workshop that is equipped with the latest diagnostics and repair technology. They also have 20 mobile workshops on-standby to cover their rental operations and prevent any downtime for their customers.
Their rental equipment fleet has participated in over 35,000 projects over 45 years in business across the region. Completing prolific local projects such as Masaar and AlJada by Arada, Tilal City by Tilal Developments, Hail and Gasha Islands by Adnoc Oil, and most recently, NEOM mega-project in Saudi Arabia. In 2021, the company launched their website almarwan.com which is the Middle East’s first e-commerce website dedicated for the rental and sale of heavy equipment. The new website allows customers to browse the full equipment portfolio of the company and provide detailed product descriptions, images, in-action videos, and 360 product renders for full visibility. Al Marwan also goes the extra mile by providing detailed inspection reports for their used equipment listed for sale. The website now includes a complete interface for rental equipment customers where they can track and monitor their active work orders completely online.
