The company is the holding company for Africa Health Research Organization which trades under the name AHRO University, a not-for-profit institute that promotes the advancement of global health through research, events, professional training, and community interventions. The organization promotes volunteerism through its emergency interventions project. With the professional training programme, the company helps build the skills of health professionals through a series of interesting courses. The courses are delivered either online or onsite. Based on the period of delivery, there are two types of courses: Short courses (AHRO Masterclasses) and Long period courses ( Degree programmes). It also runs fellowship programmes as well as partners with other institutes to deliver affiliation programmes. Aside from the training programme, Team AHRO hosts several international events, such as the Glasgow International Health Festival, which is one of the most innovative health events in the world. About 12-20 educative conferences/workshops/seminars are hosted by the company in the year.
