Our clients include Yale, Brown and Salve Regina Universities, the Newport Art Museum, the Preservation Society of Newport County and the International Tennis Hall of Fame, among many others. We have also had the pleasure and privilege to design, renovate and add on to many of the Gilded Age mansions located in and around Newport Rhode Island, including the Breakers, Marble House, Miramar and many others.
Ross Cann, the founding Principal of A4 Architecture, holds architecture and architectural history degrees and honors certifications from Yale, Cambridge, Columbia and Brown Universities. In addition to being a licensed architect, he is a teacher, author and architectural journalist. Mr. Cann is a LEED Accredited Professional and has served on more than 30 non-profit boards, committees and commissions over the years. He is an active member of the Ida Lewis Yacht Club, the National Tennis Club, the Yale Club of New York and many other organizations both in Rhode Island and elsewhere.
