Apple Fostering

Apple Fostering is an independent fostering agency built on a simple principle: children and young people thrive when the people caring for them feel genuinely supported, valued and part of a team. Rather than letting foster carers feel like a number in a large organisation, Apple Fostering focuses on strong, long-term relationships, with ongoing professional guidance, training and practical support at every stage of the fostering journey.

The agency is founded and run by husband-and-wife team Daniel and India Salewski. As an owner-led organisation, it keeps decision-makers close to the carers and children those decisions affect, which keeps it responsive and flexible. Recognising that every child is different, Apple Fostering places real importance on matching children with the right carers and supports people from many walks of life from first enquiry through assessment, approval and placement.

Apple Fostering is also exploring how technology and AI can reduce administration so social workers can spend more time supporting carers and improving outcomes. Its ambition isn’t simply to grow, but to become an outstanding fostering organisation known for the quality of its carers, its support, and the outcomes it achieves for the children in its care.
