DMforAdventure

DMforAdventure provides fun, safe and inclusive roleplaying game experiences for adventurers of all ages and backgrounds. Through expert Storytellers, immersive narratives and collaborative play, it helps every player discover their inner hero, using storytelling to spark imagination, build confidence and forge connection.

Offerings for kids, teens and families include afterschool and weekend campaigns, Family Game Nights, character-building sessions and Storyteller Academy. Specialized 1:1 sessions pair adventures with the Heroes Circle, an in-house mentoring and tutoring program that supports executive functioning, communication and writing skills for neurodiverse youth and emerging adults. The vetted, trained Storytellers are compassionate mentors and patient educators as much as they are the folks behind the screen.

Founder Chris Dooly is a professional Storyteller in New York City who has taught hundreds of kids and adults to play Dungeons & Dragons. A member of Actors’ Equity with a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts from NYU, he draws on his training as an improviser and writer to bring every table to life, and on his own experience as a neurodiverse person to support the players he mentors.
