I help students achieve academic success while truly understanding and using Latin, whether they’re preparing for 13+, GCSE, A-Level, MLAT, or aiming for Oxbridge. But I also founded LatinTutorOnline to change how people experience Latin: not as a dead language locked away in tables and vocabulary lists, but as the human, relevant cultural tool it is. As a multilingual educator and lifelong lover of Classical languages and ancient history, I’ve seen how powerful Latin can be when taught through interactive methods, particularly when students speak it actively. My teaching approach is active, immersive, and tailored to each learner. I use spoken Latin, active recall, guided reading, and high-engagement techniques to bring the language to life, because language are learnt when students are not only translating passively. I also love drawing connections between Latin and the modern world: how it shapes today’s languages, influences science and culture, and shows up in unexpected places. Teaching Latin is never just about grammar or exams: it’s about helping students think more clearly, express themselves more confidently, and discover the joy of learning a universal language.
