I Am Erica’s Flags is a family-owned and operated specialty flag shop located in Canton, Texas, founded in 2006 by Erica and Eric. Originally launched as a small side business during Canton’s renowned First Monday Trade Days, the company has grown into a thriving brick-and-mortar store open six days a week, a nationwide e-commerce operation, and a full-service flagpole sales, installation, and repair business serving residential and commercial clients within a 100-mile radius.
Community involvement is central to I Am Erica’s Flags. The business actively promotes and supports other small local businesses through referrals and social media, volunteers at the Van Zandt County Veterans Memorial to help fund ongoing maintenance, and supports local animal rescue organizations through donations, volunteer work, and adoption events. As a military and first-responder family, the shop places special emphasis on honoring service members, offering a wide range of military, police, firefighter, EMS, and first-responder flags and accessories. This dedication to community service and local engagement earned the company the 2025 Business of the Year award from the Canton, Texas Chamber of Commerce.
The product selection includes decorative and seasonal garden and house flags for all holidays, American flags, Christian flags, flags from all 50 states, select international flags, historical and political flags, collegiate designs, wind spinners, windsocks, mailbox covers, banners, chrome car emblems, and custom-made flags. The store also carries garden, wall-mounted, arbor-style, and in-ground flagpoles in multiple finishes, with professional installation and service available. With a strong focus on American-made products, personalized customer service, and a welcoming storefront near the First Monday Trade Days grounds, I Am Erica’s Flags is widely known for combining patriotic pride, community commitment, and small-business integrity.
