Tiva Toys is not just a toy company — it’s a creative movement. We craft toys that honor how children naturally explore the world: through play, imagination, sensory engagement, and self-directed discovery. Our designs are grounded in developmental science, neurodiversity-affirming principles, and environmental responsibility. The result? Toys that feel purposeful, inclusive, and deeply fun — fostering creativity, growth, connection, and joy. What truly sets Tiva Toys apart is our intentional approach to design. Every piece in our collection is: Child-centered, not trend-driven We design with children’s developmental needs and natural curiosity in mind, not with marketing trends or fleeting fads. Neurodiversity-affirming Our toys encourage self-paced exploration, sensory engagement, and flexible play that supports children with ADHD, autism, sensory processing differences — and all kinds of thinking styles. Sustainably made We prioritize non-toxic materials, ethically sourced wood, and low-impact manufacturing — because children deserve safe play and a thriving planet. Designed for deep engagement From tactile sensory swings to open-ended imaginative sets like our houses and road systems, Tiva Toys reinforces the idea that play doesn’t need rules to be enriching — it just needs rich materials + creative intent. At the center of Tiva Toys is Janira Samanez, a Peruvian entrepreneur with a background in engineering and supply chain management — but also a proud parent of a creatively brilliant, neurodivergent child with ADHD. That personal reality became the seed of a mission. Janira often tells the story of afternoons in their living room, watching her child become deeply absorbed in play — not with screens or electronic noise, but with something as simple as stacking blocks, building imaginary towns, or inventing games with tactile objects. It was in these moments that she noticed something quiet but powerful: Children don’t want to be “kept busy.” They want to be met — with materials that invite curiosity, sensory engagement, and open-ended exploration — the kinds where there’s no “right answer,” only discovery. Janira realized that many toys on the market were either too prescriptive (only one way to play) or overstimulating (screens, lights, noises). She wanted something in between — toys that respect a child’s inner creative life, especially those whose brains work differently — who thrive with rhythm, sensory input, or structures that can bend to their imagination. That insight gave birth to Tiva Toys — a brand that doesn’t just sell toys, but champions a new way of thinking about play.
