Rustic and Renewed Decor is a proudly Canadian, handcrafted décor and small furniture business known for its warm rustic style, reclaimed-wood designs, and thoughtful craftsmanship. Founded in 2023, the business grew out of a genuine passion for woodworking and a love for the natural beauty that wood—especially reclaimed wood—brings into a home. What started as a creative outlet quickly became a thriving small business, with customers across Canada who appreciate unique, meaningful, and well-crafted pieces. How Rustic and Renewed Decor Began Before Rustic and Renewed Decor became a business, it was simply a hobby—building small projects, making décor for home, and creating gifts for friends and family. People noticed the charm in each piece, especially the character in reclaimed wood. Requests began to come in, and it became clear that this wasn’t just a pastime. The enjoyment of designing and building these projects sparked something deeper, and by 2023 the business officially launched. The goal from the beginning was never to mass-produce or rush through inventory. Instead, every item would be made with intention: handcrafted, durable, and designed to add warmth and personality to everyday spaces. A Craftsmanship-First Approach Rustic and Renewed Decor embraces the character and beauty of wood. Each piece is made by hand—from cutting and sanding to assembly and finishing. This hands-on approach ensures quality, consistency, and authenticity. Customers often comment on the solid feel, smooth finishes, and attention to detail that show the care put into each item. The use of reclaimed wood is one of the business’s defining characteristics. Aged boards carry natural textures, markings, and weathered tones that new lumber simply can’t replicate. Rather than hiding these features, Rustic and Renewed Decor highlights them, turning imperfections into personality. When new wood is used, it is chosen to complement that rustic charm, creating a balance between modern simplicity and natural warmth. Handmade Products That Stand Out The product selection continues to grow and evolve with the seasons, but customer favourites include: Rustic tic tac toe boards in Canadian and holiday themes Reclaimed-wood dog leash holders with cut-out dog silhouettes Wooden beer caddies for bottles or cans Coffee cup trays, risers, and functional kitchen décor Reclaimed-wood wall art, signs, and small furniture pieces Seasonal items and gift-ready décor Every item blends beauty with functionality, making the pieces suitable for everyday use, display, or gifting. What Makes Rustic and Renewed Decor Different With so many handmade décor shops online, Rustic and Renewed Decor stands apart in several meaningful ways: 1. 100% Handmade, Start to Finish Every cut, every sanding step, every finish is done in-house—no shortcuts, no outsourcing, no mass production. 2. Small-Batch Inventory Products are made in limited quantities, which ensures quality control and gives customers truly unique pieces. 3. Reclaimed Wood With Character Instead of trying to create “perfect” surfaces, the business celebrates the natural story that reclaimed wood carries. 4. Strong Customer Relationships Customers appreciate the communication, customization options, and personal touch. Buying feels like an experience, not just a transaction. 5. A Distinct Canadian Rustic Style Warm wood tones, simple lines, subtle Canadian themes, and cottage-inspired elements create a look that feels at home across Canada. 6. Built to Last Every piece is sanded smooth, assembled securely, and finished with long-lasting coatings designed for durability. Craft Shows, Local Sales, and Canada-Wide Shipping Craft shows play a big role in the business, offering customers the chance to see and feel the quality of each piece in person. Many products sell out at these events, and any leftovers become limited-quantity sale items online. Rustic and Renewed Decor continues to grow its online presence, making it easy for customers across the country to shop. The business ships Canada-wide and also offers local pickup and delivery for added convenience. Rooted in Passion, Built With Purpose Since 2023, Rustic and Renewed Decor has stayed true to the values it was founded on: creativity, craftsmanship, and a genuine love for creating pieces that make a home feel warm and welcoming. What started as a passion project has become a trusted brand known for its authenticity, quality materials, and unique reclaimed-wood designs. Rustic and Renewed Decor remains committed to producing handcrafted décor that feels meaningful, personal, and built to last—one piece at a time.
