I am Savvy Tech Grandma” providing tech help from the perspective of someone who’s older, willing to learn, and approachable. I try to address the very real “I’m not sure where to start” feeling with warmth and patience. I focus on beginners and “any age” comfort level. I have pressed all the wrong buttons at times, but I figured it out, and I’m here to make learning technology easier (and more enjoyable!) That means I’m not talking only to experienced users – I’m speaking to those who may feel intimidated by tech. I want you to “get comfortable using everyday technology like smartphones, tablets, and computers…” I cover smartphones, tablets, apps, digital tools — but try to frame them in a way that’s not overwhelming. I try to impart patience, sincerity, and real-life trial & error that hopefully will build trust for you, my visitors. I try to combine skill-building and community that we all can relate to. Just like most grandmas, I also have a crafty side. My store is full of crafts, many of which combine my tech skills and crafty side; not typical of most pure tech-tutorial sites. That’s what makes my website special!
