About Burton Driving School Burton Driving School is one of Burton-on-Trent’s leading local driving schools, fully devoted to helping learners become safe, confident drivers. The school was created by Zee, a passionate and experienced instructor dedicated to making learning to drive friendly, supportive and effective for everyone—no matter their background or previous experience. How We Help Learners Succeed From the very first lesson, every learner receives support that’s tailored to their personal needs. Whether you’re nervous, have never sat in the driver’s seat before, or are returning after a long break, Zee and the team focus on building confidence at your own pace. Students benefit from structured, patient instruction and encouragement, ensuring steady progress and a positive attitude toward driving. Zee’s philosophy is simple: treat every learner with patience and respect, no matter their starting point. Alongside Zee, our team includes expert DVSA-approved instructors like Zubia, Burton’s leading female automatic instructor, and Qasim, a well-known manual instructor. Our instructors work closely together to provide manual or automatic lessons, tailored to each learner’s style and preferences—whether it’s building skills from scratch or preparing for the extended driving test. We’re especially proud of our track record with learners who need extra reassurance, those tackling the extended test after a ban, or anyone who might have struggled elsewhere. Our team knows how to settle nerves, break down barriers, and build real skills for safe, independent driving—not just for the test, but for life beyond it. What Makes Burton Driving School Unique Founder-Led Approach: Zee is not only the founder but also an active instructor, supporting students on the road with real experience, empathy, and hands-on leadership. Personalised Learning: Every lesson is planned around the individual, with flexible course options and goal-focused instruction. Choice of Instructor and Vehicle: Learners can select from male or female instructors, manual or automatic cars, and access lessons on a schedule that fits busy lives. Known for Our Patience: Nervous or anxious learners are always welcome—we specialise in helping people overcome their worries and enjoy learning at a comfortable pace. Modern, Local and Reliable: All our cars are up-to-date and fitted with dual controls, while our strong local roots mean we understand every road, roundabout and test centre in Burton.
