Electropin Technologies LLC produces small, round metal parts predominantly used in the connector industry. We have a proprietary process called Automatic Die Rolling, which is extremely high-speed and produces no scrap, resulting in significant cost savings over machined parts. Since Automatic Die Rolling does not cut parts to shape, we do not need to use leaded brass or leaded copper alloys, so we dont just meet ROHS/REACH limits, we eliminate them. Automatic Die Rolling has another advantage over machined parts with its solid carbide tooling and metal forming process, which is consistent, repeatable parts. We dont have a sharp cutter that dulls over time, and changes the dimension and finish of your part. With Electropin Technologies and Automatic Die Rolling, your 1st part is just like your millionth, which is just like your 100 millionth. Our production is best suited to larger volumes, and its real cost benefits start at 50,000 pcs. There is no upper limit to our production capabilities, and we have made over 1 billion parts for a customer in a year, with 0 defects! In 1943, my grandfather, Bartley E. Hall, founded Auto-Swage Products Inc. Bart perfected a machine that drew flat stock into a hollow tube, then fed it through a progressive die to form parts into shape (the "Automatic Swaging machine). At that time, production was mainly beaded chain used by the military for dog tags and the pins used at the bottom of vacuum tubes for electronics; those pins also are what you see sticking out of fluorescent lightbulbs. Auto-Swage experienced tremendous growth along with the growing need for electrical connections through the 70's, when sadly Bart passed away. My father, Donald Brenton(Bart's son-in-law), took over the business and guided it through growth to 3 factories and over 300 employees. In 2019, I took the business over and rebranded it to Electropin Technologies LLC and moved from Connecticut to North Carolina, where we enjoy a more friendly business environment and better weather.
