As a women-owned independent brokerage founded in 2019, our mission is simple: make health insurance less confusing and more human.

Our founders, Yahoska and Katy, both began their careers in the health insurance industry back in 2010, wokring for a local insurance carrier. It was there that they developed a deep understanding of Medicare and individual health insurance plans. After nearly a decade in the corporate world, they saw a need for something different—a more personal, honest, and community-focused approach to health insurance.

Around the same time, both Yahoska and Katy became mothers to beautiful little girls. Like so many working moms, they wanted to build something meaningful, but not at the cost of missing out on the moments that matter—school pickups, dance recitals, bedtime stories. That’s when the idea was born: to launch their own agency and do things their way—with integrity, flexibility, and heart.

Since 2019, The Health Experts has grown into a trusted name across South Florida, helping hundreds of clients find the right Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and ACA (Marketplace) plans. Being fully independent means we’re not tied to any one insurance company, so we can offer unbiased recommendations based on what’s truly best for each client.
