As a founder, Dr. Nickle brings a rare blend of experience, resilience, and purpose to the company. With over a decade of service in the U.S. Army Special Operations community and multiple deployments, he understands the true cost of freedom—and the value of faith. After sustaining injuries that left him hospitalized and bedridden, his journey of healing became the foundation for this movement. Today, he continues to serve through storytelling, entrepreneurship, and unwavering dedication to lifting others up.
Shield of Light is also proud to operate under a lean and principled model. We keep advertising costs low and partner directly with churches and local groups to ensure our impact stays personal and focused. Our publishing house, Shield of Light Publishing, LLC, is veteran-founded and author-driven, allowing full creative control to uphold biblical integrity and purpose in every release.
