Our innovative mug, Sip2play, is developed and designed specifically to both engage and promote the intake of liquids or nutritional drinks.
Sip2play is a versatile solution aimed at a wide target group, from children to adults living with diagnoses and diseases such as ARFID, autism, anorexia nervosa, leukemia, stroke and cancer. It is also ideal for the elderly, where a larger percentage often have difficulties with taking in enough nutrition. In healthcare, the Sip2play mug plays an important role, not least after operations where it helps to ensure that patients get the necessary fluids and energy. The mug is also a valuable aid in departments such as palliative care, geriatrics and children’s medicine, where it supports patients with varying needs.
We solve this by having our Spi2play mug act as a game controller and together with the game, the game character is controlled by sucking from the straw. Both mug and its game are designed from the ground up to both engage and promote beverage intake, in an entertaining and fun way.
The mug measures the volume and adjusts the path in real time. So once the individual jumps into the target, then the target volume has also been reached, i.e. the total volume that the guardian has decided that the individual should drink during a game. The Sip2play mug can be used with several different liquids, including gruel, nutritional drinks, water, juice, etc.
