Since 2016, Ithaca Health and Environment has been working with our neighbours to help understand the environment in which we live and work.
Our work is based on a true passion to promote healthy living and working spaces by investigating our environment for potential sources of ill-health such as biological microorganisms like mould, bacteria, and viruses, chemical contamination like Volatile Organic Compounds (Benzene, Formaldehyde, etc,), Asbestos, Radon, or physical hazards like poor indoor air quality, noise, vibration, and so on. The list is endless.
Whether it is in your family home or in the workplace where you and your colleagues spend so much of your time, everyone deserves to be healthy and free from harm. The costs to families and businesses otherwise is too great to ignore.
