Boilerhut has been around since 2013, when we decided to try and move away from in-home surveys that can slow installation down. We use strict processes, photos and video calls to produce a full quote online and over the phone. This allows us sometimes to install boilers the next day when required and if possible. Our installation quotes all include the boiler, flue, copper pipework, fixtures, room thermostat, filters, flushes, building regulations, warranty, labour and VAT.
We have been a Viessmann Premium Partner for over 5 years, alongside Alpha (as our second-line boiler) and Navien for oil installations. We chose Viessmann because we believe they produce the best boilers in the world. Their components are of the highest quality and don’t degrade over time. For example, they use stainless steel for their heat exchangers rather than aluminium. This pushes the price up slightly, but the boiler will remain highly efficient for years.
People ask us why we don’t install Worcester Bosch, we dom but we tend not to recommend them over the Viessmann boilers. Worceter use an aluminium heat exchanger which can lose 10% of its efficiency over 10 years which is money out of people’s pockets on gas. The Viessmann 100-W model is 94% efficient and will remain 94% efficient for 12 years. In fact, stainless steel heat exchangers will get slightly more efficient after 1-2 years of use.
We also work closely with the manufacturers to ensure full manufacturer-backed warranties. If you have a Viessmann boiler installed by Boilerhut we can also supply Viessmann-services ensuring your warranty for the life of the boiler.
