Silly School Education is a small, family run company based in Cambridgeshire, UK, that specialises in writing musical productions and songs for primary schools! We are Alex, a professional songwriter/musician and Trisha a Deputy Head and teacher at our local primary school. We create fun, educational, unique plays and songs for children in primary schools ages 5-11 years (EYFS, KS1, KS2). All of our primary school plays and songs are co-written and produced together.

We started writing our own primary school plays and songs quite a few years ago, when Trisha couldn’t find any that were exciting or inspiring enough for the children in her class to enjoy. That prompted us to make the decision to write our own – just for fun! After great feedback from teachers, parents and the children, we decided to continue – and here we are!

We strongly believe that learning should be as fun and engaging as possible and putting on an entertaining, educational school play or singing whilst learning are great ways of doing that. Our primary school musicals are very carefully put together with engaging storylines and catchy songs. We try our hardest to make our school productions as fun and as silly as they can possibly be.

Nativity Plays and Musicals for Primary Schools

Our musicals have a large dose of silly. They are full of jokes and hilarious one-liners. We spend a ridiculous amount of time ensuring that each play is very carefully constructed, to ensure that they are not only fun for the children to perform and easy for the teachers to produce, but also extremely entertaining for the audience. Free Online Educational Songs

As well as creating musicals from our home in Cambridgeshire for Primary Schools across the UK and world wide, we also create fun, educational, animated songs and animations on our Silly School Education YouTube channel. We regularly update the channel and cover a wide range of subjects from the EYFS, KS1 and KS2 national curriculum. It’s a great, free resource for teachers and parents. We are told that the songs are extremely catchy, so be warned, you’ll find yourself humming along all day!
