The idea of BrokersWatch came about around 2010 when realizing that the financial industry, especially retail brokerage business was, and still is, extremely loose and full of rotten apples.

What made matters worse is the fact that most of the so-called specialized websites were merely forums at best, and the way for a broker to be listed, be at the top or receive a positive rating is the good old “pay up” practice. Surely the more a broker pays the higher they ranked

All this made it hard for any trader, especially retail traders, to make an educated decision on where and whom they should trust with their money. Hence, BrokersWatch concept was born as the true impartial, unbiased, and totally dedicated to serve traders and not brokers.

Serving traders does not mean to tarnish the broker’s reputation unjustly because some traders feel cheated out of their money or as a means to blackmail legitimate brokers.. This is why traders are offered the option to register a complaint against brokers but this should be supported by evidence and not a mere hearsay. All complaints are investigated internally and labeled accordingly, Legit complaints are honored with contacting brokers for feedback in regards to the issue in question.
