\nHomoromance Editions is a French-Quebec publishing house specializing in lesbian, gay, bi and transgender books for French speakers and written by French speakers.
\nThe catalog offers a wide variety of genres such as science fiction, fantasy, detective stories, adventure, thrillers, psychology, fantasy, space-opera, slices of life, all on background of romance.
\nWith 4 to 8 novelties published each month and more than 400 books published since the creation of the house in 2015, the Homoromance Editions platform is the leader in the french market for romance between women and has become the first French site to offer such a diversity of niche books.
\nOnly 8 years ago, lesbian women couldn’t find any fictional books dealing with relationships between women or same-sex couples. It was impossible for LGBT readers to obtain books that corresponds the real lives of lesbians, their daily lives or their expectations.
\nMost authors could not find a publisher to publish them. The niche being extremely small (statistics suggest an average of 10% of LGBT people in a population), traditional publishers therefore refused to take charge of and invest in manuscripts that would only be offered to a minority segment of the book market.
\nAnother important fact. A few years ago, more precisely before July 18, 2019, the word \u201cLesbian\u201d entered on Google France only displayed pornography, ignoring the definition of what love between women was. The most serious thing was that the younger generations of lesbians had no other reference than these pornographic sites to help them understand what feminine love was.
\nThe creation of a platform such as Homoromance Edition, offering LGBT literature, was urgent in order to allow young and old to find a reading in their image, and this, for all budgets.
\nBooks of Homoromance Editions are offered in paper format but also in digital format (ebook) at more affordable prices. They obviously adapt to all types of reading tablets with support for Epub, mobi and PDF formats.
\nThe strength of this small Franco-Quebec publishing house is its network. More than 7000 members meet daily on the Facebook group https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/groups\/158108921504091) to exchange their reading opinions on the latest book releases.
\nEach year, the \u201cFF Book Awards\u201d are organized, a competition for the best lesbian novels which rewards, thanks to the votes of readers, the most popular books published from the previous year.
\nHomoromance Editions also stands out for its creation of annual specialized fairs organized in France or in Quebec. Each year, the author who has accumulated the most sales is invited, all expenses paid, to the \u201cSalon de l\u2019Homoromance\u201d in Montreal, or to the one organized in Paris.<\/p>\n

\nAvec 4 \u00e0 8 nouveaut\u00e9s publi\u00e9es chaque mois et plus de 400 \u0153uvres publi\u00e9es depuis la cr\u00e9ation de la maison en 2015, la plateforme Homoromance Editions est leader sur le march\u00e9 de la romance entre femmes et est devenue le premier site fran\u00e7ais \u00e0 offrir une telle diversit\u00e9 de livres de niche.
\nIl y a seulement 8 ans, les femmes lesbiennes ne trouvaient aucun livre de fiction traitant de relation entre femmes ou couples de m\u00eame sexe. \nAutre fait important. Il y a encore quelques ann\u00e9es, plus exactement avant le 18 juillet 2019, le mot \u00ab Lesbienne \u00bb entr\u00e9 sur Google France n\u2019affichait que de la pornographie, faisant fi de la d\u00e9finition de ce qu\u2019\u00e9tait l\u2019amour entre femmes. Le plus grave \u00e9tait que les jeunes g\u00e9n\u00e9rations de lesbiennes n\u2019avaient aucune autre r\u00e9f\u00e9rence que ces sites pornographiques pour les aider \u00e0 comprendre ce qu\u2019\u00e9tait l\u2019amour au f\u00e9minin.
\nLa cr\u00e9ation d\u2019une plateforme telle que Homoromance Edition, proposant une litt\u00e9rature LGBT, \u00e9tait urgente afin de permettre aux jeunes et moins jeunes de trouver une lecture \u00e0 leur image, et ce, pour tous les budgets.
