Axe throwing is one of FlagTagAZ\u2019s signature attractions.<\/p>\n
The venue offers 14 shared lanes, with each session guided by a trained coach known as an \u201cAxepert.\u201d Coaches explain safety procedures, demonstrate proper throwing techniques and help first-time guests learn how to land a successful throw.<\/p>\n
The experience extends beyond traditional axe throwing. Guests may also have the opportunity to try knife throwing and throwing stars. FlagTagAZ uses official World Knife Throwing League knives, giving participants an introduction to the techniques and equipment used in the competitive sport.<\/p>\n
Digital projected targets add another layer of variety. In addition to standard scoring games, groups can compete in games such as Tic-Tac-Toe and the locally inspired Save Route 66 challenge.<\/p>\n
Lanes are shared only among members of the same group, with up to four participants competing on each lane. Guests are never required to share a lane with an unrelated party.<\/p>\n
Axe throwing is generally recommended for guests aged 13 and older. Children between 10 and 12 may participate with active parental permission and supervision. Closed-toe shoes are required, and loaner shoes are available when needed.<\/p>\n
