Everything changed when I read the book Profit First by Mike Michalowicz. The message resonated with me: entrepreneurs deserve to be paid first. The Profit First methodology turns traditional accounting on its head by prioritizing profit from the very beginning\u2014literally. Instead of the usual formula (Sales – Expenses = Profit), Profit First teaches you to flip the equation: Sales – Profit = Expenses.<\/p>\n
