Michael Wood is a multifaceted individual known for his contributions as a business owner, educator, advocate, and musician. Michael Wood was one of the co-founders of Ottawa Special Events, a successful event rental company. He sold it in 2021 due to the pandemic. Michael Wood is also a professor at Algonquin College in Ottawa, teaching in programs that deliver courses on the music industry, media, film, and business. Michael is also a former touring guitar player who was discovered by Casey Kasem, the American Idol Insider on various Fox News stations and a published author. Michael is also currently working with all levels of government to ensure a seamless transition to next-generation 911 (NG-911). Michael Wood has won many awards including but limited to a Forty Under 40 and Algonquin College\u2019s Alumni of Distinction Award.<\/p>\n
