Hudson Valley Goldsmith is celebrating its 10th year in New Paltz, NY, about an hour north of NYC.

Specializing in unique and custom designs made in house, including one of a kind engagement and wedding rings.

Direct importer of diamonds from Antwerp, Belgium.

Jewelry repairs done on premises.

David & Sara started Hudson Valley Goldsmith in 2010 first traveling the East Coast to sell jewelry at juried craft shows and eventually, in fall 2013, opening a small store and workshop in New Paltz, NY. The business quickly outgrew the space and, in 2015, they moved the store to its current location on Main Street in New Paltz. Today, along with their team of goldsmiths, they create more than 1000 custom pieces a year, as well as sell the work of about 20 other artists.

Twice a year we travel to Antwerp Belgium, the diamond capital of the world to hand pick our Diamonds, meet with the diamond cutters and “Sightholders” who purchase directly from the mines. Selecting our diamonds so early in the global trade process assures that we’re able to provide you with the best quality and value as well as a shorter chain of custody to assure our diamonds’ conflict- free origins. We’re also proud to incorporate special gemstones from around the world into our work; they are all unique, of the highest quality and in many cases, hand cut by master lapidary artists here in the US.

Our custom design process is fun and stress free. We will guide you every step of the way through the design process so there are no surprises. You’ll get to see a lifelike rendering of your new piece of jewelry before it exists. We can even use your gold, diamonds or gemstones to redesign a family heirloom to something more in your style. Our prices follow industry standardized pricing and are honest and fair.

Gold, silver, platinum, diamonds and watches purchased in store. Payout is immediate and competitive, prices fluctuate with daily markets.

GIA Diamond Graduate Jewelry Professional onsite offering appraisal services for jewelry, diamonds, and gemstones.

Our workshop and repair process is unparalleled. We repair all fine jewelry, including pieces purchased elsewhere. Upon bringing your jewelry in for repair, you’ll be guided by a qualified professional who will explain the repair process, cost and timeframe. We’ll then provide you with a detailed description and picture of your jewelry taken with a microscope so you can rest assured that your piece of jewelry and your diamonds will safely be returned to you like new. All repairs are preformed by our team of goldsmiths in our in-house studio incorporating the latest technology such as laser welding, CAD, 3D printing, the latest in natural diamond detection and diamond grading.

https://www.hudsonvalleygoldsmith.com/
hudsonvalleygoldsmith.com
fine jewelry, custom jewerly, wedding rings, engagment rings, gold jewelry, jewelry appraisals, jewelry repairs, handselected diamonds from Antwerp Belgium, gold buying, diamonds","image_1":"https://diib.com/featuredmembers/wp-content/uploads/2023/10/Logo-Hudson-Valley-Goldsmith.jpg
"image_2":false,"image_3":false
