I am professionally qualified in photography, being an Associate of the British Institute of Professional Photography (ABIPP), and also a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB).
\nI have a unique range of experiences of the built environment from my construction and photography careers along with being professionally qualified in both professions.
\nI specialise in architectural photography, construction photography and real estate photography. I work for architects, contractors, consultants, construction companies, developers, property owners and real estate agents. I work on single, bespoke commissions and have many repeat clients. I specialise in building construction and the photographing of the built environment.
\nI help clients get the photos that they need of their buildings and construction projects.
\nI am fully equipped to work on live construction sites, and have the current qualifications that allow me to safely work on construction sites.
\nI also teach photographers how to take better photos of buildings, and how to make money from taking photos of buildings. My teaching is based on my personal experiences, and I share these experiences to help other photographers learn from my mistakes.
\nI have a photography blog, where I publish a weekly post about something related to photographing the built environment. I also have a You Tube channel where I talk about my blog post and add something a little extra.
\nI have a course titled \u201cHow To Become A Real Estate Photographer\u201d, where I teach photographers everything they need to know to get started in real estate photography.
\nI am highly skilled in Lightroom, which I also teach on my photography blog. I have been using Lightroom since it first release.
\nI have highly refined workflows for image capture, processing and data management which I share with my audience.
\nI teach photography in plain English, telling photographers what I know based on my own personal experiences. I tell photographers the things that they need to know, and also what they do not need to know, to help them save time and money.
\nI have an email list and share my thoughts weekly on an email which I send to my subscribers.
\nI encourage photographers to get out more and take photos, and to take better photos every time.
\nI am the creator and all things at the Photography Explained Podcast.
