\nI have a 20year career in a multi-national in my pocket.
\nI had the opportunity to grow with the brand and company.
\nThrough the years I have practiced a lot of functions.
\nWith growth came more responsabilities.
\nWith more responsabilities more stress, more issues about balance in life.
\nAnd with more issues I started to think about my life, search for tools to handle with it and discovered the world of personal development.
\nI dove deep into, became a better version of me and never looked back.
\nI discovered my passion. I realised I was a coach.<\/p>\n
With the discovery of the world of personal development, due or thanks to my search and need for more balance between work and life, I discovered who I was, what my core-skills were… I discovered I was a coach.
\nMy core-skills are embedded in personal growth : my emphatic ability, my out of the box thinking, my style of communication and connection : throughout my life I have always been coaching people into a better version of themselves, long before I knew what I was actually doing – long before I discovered what Coaching was\/is.<\/p>\n
I am married to a ER-doctor, Joke and we have a daughter Jara, born in 2010.
\nFirst 6 years, since birth of our daughter, Joke was mainly the care-taker and organised her professional activities around taking care of household and Jara. I focused on my career.
\nWhen Jara went to primary school, we switched responsabilities at home.
\nThrought primary school, Joke did focus more and more on her job and I focused more on taking care of our household and raising Jara.<\/p>\n
This switch happened organically, partially because of my personal growth and discovering my true passion.
\nSomewhere in 2014 I made a statement that within 5 years I would become an entrepreneur and start my business as a mental coach.<\/p>\n
Happyhomedad – my timid and undeveloped avatar online – has his roots in my evolution from Production manager with focus on work to being a happy at home dad with focus on life and family.<\/p>\n
September 2018 I finally quit my day-job to become a solopreneur.
\nBut due to my wife’s career possibily to become deputy head of deparment E.R. and due to Covid,
\nmy business never really took of until now. (2023 is my actual first year with a plan to grow my business.)<\/p>\n
My primary focus as a life & business coach is on inspiring, motivating, supporting and empower parents and entrepreneurs who strive for more balance in life.

My ideal client is a working mom or dad or high-achiever.
\nTheir profession : they are entrepreneurs.
\nThey are employed but have an entrepreneurial mindset.
\nOr they are employed and do have a side-job.
\nOr are actually solopreneurs or do run a small business.<\/p>\n
I work 1-on-1, online and offline.
\nI want to expand this into more group-coaching.<\/p>\n
My framework : in the middle of life there is You. You, with only your thoughts, feelings and actions to control.
\nYour actual life, where you are now is a result.
\nThe result of all choices, made by you : your reactions by thought, feeling and action on what happens in life.
\nWe divide what happens in your life into 4 categories (a condensed version on the wheel of life – simplified – more focused) : Family & relationships, work & career, money and passions.
