When Sports World shut down we had 24 hours to relocate and Sherwood Park was our home for the next 6 years. In 2016 we relocated to Morinville with a way better shop with more space. It just never seems like enough space, especially since I can’t stop buying so much gear and skates till we are bursting at the seams again. I love building the store website, adding products all in an effort to make Bad Girlfriend Skates your one stop skate shop. As a retail store you have to offer more than one brand and give options because let’s face it we are all different sizes and shapes and no one skate or set of knee pads fits or feels the same on everyone.
\nI am not just an owner but a skater which started February 2006 with my introduction and journey into Roller Derby.
\nI skated with Oil City Derby Girls for my first 4 years and was president for 3 years. Founded Red Deer Roller Derby and helped with the start up of Greater Edmonton, the first Junior league in Canada. I have skated with many leagues such as Oil City, E-Ville, Red Deer, Hwy 14 and traveled to many places with a great many skaters. One of my favorite memories was 2009 traveling with a team of Canadians to the UK and Scotland as Team Canada. Skip forward 16 years later when people come to the shop and ask who I skate for I don’t mind telling them I am retired from playing roller derby but my love of skating has me dropping in on leagues for fun and social interaction.<\/p>\n","url":"https:\/\/badgirlfriendskates.com\/","url_text":"badgirlfriendskates.com","main_services":"roller skate sales, roller skate fittings, roller derby packages, knee, elbow and wrist guard protection for skating, custom skate mounting","image_1":"https:\/\/diib.com\/featuredmembers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Logo-Bad-Girlfriend-Skates.jpg","client_review":"","why_we":"","history":"","image_2":false,"image_3":false},"yoast_head":"\n
