A Beautiful Life celebrates British beauty and the incredible brands we have here in the UK. When it comes to shopping for beauty products it’s very easy to turn to the same well-known international brands, and while they are great, often in the shadows you’ll find brilliant under-the-radar cosmetic brands that deserve to be in the spotlight.

We’ve created a one-of-a-kind online luxury shopping destination featuring a carefully curated edit of the newest and most exciting British boutique beauty and lifestyle brands. You will only find the bestsellers, the hero products from each brand, each one tried and tested by our team of beauty experts to save you precious research time. We will help you discover new and innovative indie brands and the incredible stories behind them. Think of us your best friend for the hottest beauty recommendations.

Over the past year we have seen how important it is to support our local communities and businesses. By shopping locally, albeit online, you are helping to support our community of British beauty brands, enabling their businesses to grow and thrive, as well as encouraging more local entrepreneurial spirit within the beauty industry.

LYDIA ROSCOE

Lydia’s love of beauty started at the tender age of five when she would play with the old samples her mother would bring home from her job working on the luxury make-up counter of a busy department store.

Dressing up with her Dior and Chanel lipsticks started a life-long passion for make-up and beauty, which she has turned into a successful career. She initially trained as an MUA at the London College of Fashion before moving into marketing and buying, working for some of the UK’s biggest beauty brands and retailers including L’Oréal, Harrods, John Lewis, Coty and Unilever. For the last seven years she has run a successful video production company specialising in beauty and fashion.

Throughout her 25-year career, Lydia has always felt an affinity with small, emerging brands and has gone on to support many names we recognise today. With A Beautiful Life she hopes to champion these indie brands in a refreshing new way by bringing together a seamless luxury in-store experience with inspiring, creative content, all accessible from the comfort of your own home.
