Having spent years within small business operations, buying and e-commerce, James finally made the leap to open his own online retail store offering products he would (and has!) decorated his own space with. <\/p>\n
Aiming to offer an eclectic range of products, the main focus is on maximalist designs from independent makers, designers and brands who are based mainly in the UK and Europe. All the brands are chosen for their focus on being eco-conscious in their operation and materials used, offering small-run batches and generally limiting their environmental impact as much as possible. <\/p>\n
Complimentary to these brands, the \u2018bits&\u2019 brand also produces its own homeware products – all made from eco-friendly resin and using non-toxic pigments. The products are produced ensuring there is minimal impact on the local and wider environment, with all tools used during the process being reusable and being made from eco-friendly materials. <\/p>\n
As \u2018bits&\u2019 continues to grow, we scope out other brands who align with the company\u2019s philosophy and ethical beliefs. We want to be an advocate for small business (being one ourselves!) and help others to expand their brands to a wider audience.
