We began in 2021 and already have a dozen projects underway to help save pollinators, increase plant life, and work to eliminate food deserts in at-risk neighborhoods while educating the public on how critical pollination is to sustaining life on our planet. We’re a nonprofit partner organization to Hivessence.com and Hiveshine. Our tagline is \u201cmaking life sustainable\u201d, and we do that in various, proven and practical sectors centered around pollination.<\/p>\n
We work with urban farms, community gardens, corporate campuses, hotels, Audubon Parks, and other locations where strategic pollination planning is beneficial. Our “pollination accelerator projects” include beehives, butterfly enclosures, hummingbird habitats, bat houses, water features, and planting of native wildflowers. We measure and track with IoT technology combined with old-school observation and data recording. We also create educational modules for students, volunteers, and the general public. <\/p>\n
Additionally, we help corporations and nonprofits with LEED certification, ESG guidance, and carbon credits, as well as environmental planning and design. <\/p>\n
Our projects add 16% to 35% increase in pollinating species, and plant life, while adding productivity and output in crops for most locations – especially in food deserts and underserved populations. <\/p>\n
Pollination is a very complex and delicate element of our planet\u2019s life system. It incorporates 100\u2019s of thousands of species of animals, insects, and plants. Without it functioning properly, we would see life on Earth \u2013 as we know it and depend on it \u2013 end within a decade or less. In fact, 1 of every 3 bites of food we eat depends directly on pollinations like honey bees, bumble bees, and mason bees \u2013 just to name a few. <\/p>\n
We\u2019ve presented our concept at Collision Toronto, Startup Grind Global in Silicon Valley, EarthX and E-Capital in Dallas, Texas, and have been part of the Lean Stack accelerator program from MassChallenge. We\u2019ve been cited by the United Nations as an organization supporting their SDG (Sustainable Development Goals). We\u2019re funded in part by Hivessence, grants, corporate projects, foundations, and individuals, just like you!<\/p>\n
