Somewhere along the line, Seahorse Silks came about when I thought I might like to do something with some of my personal photos of my favourite \u201ccolours, patterns and textures\u201d. Printing on paper or canvas to frame and hang on a wall did not appeal. I wanted something more tactile. Something that could be enjoyed without having to be in a certain room looking at the wall. So, I decided to print on fabrics. That way my photo could be worn and enjoyed physically and visually. I am a scarf wearer myself, so that was an easy decision.<\/p>\n

Scarves are a practical and timeless accessory. They allow you to build on your wardrobe in a functional and economic way. You can achieve lots of different looks with a few simple pieces. The right scarf can turn a good outfit into a great outfit. My silk scarves can take you from the beach to the office, then on to cocktails at sunset. The winter range of wool and cashmere are light but warm and not bulky at all. Many of them are unisex and look just as good on the gents.<\/p>\n

They make great presents too as one size fits all. So, my scarves all come in a gift box ready for giving. I know many of them are purchased just for that purpose.<\/p>\n

Seahorse Silks is a limited collection of small print runs. I choose the luxurious fabrics of silk, modal, Australian Merino wool and cashmere. The are a little piece of luxury we can all afford. A quality scarf will help you create your very own style.<\/p>\n
