My name is Carol Ann Johnson, the artist behind The Artistic Vision. I grew up in the Midwest and have a degree in language from Ball State University. Although I have always been creative, starting with designing and making my own clothes as a teenager, I had no artistic training. That all changed when I found myself sailing in the Bahamas on a 42\u2019 Morgan for three months.
\nI started with watercolor painting. There were no end of subjects and scenery there to begin my journey. I still have some of those early paintings and continue to find inspiration in the many locations that I visited then. Learning more about art, I read everything I could find and watched copious videos practicing my technique.
\nFor the past several years I have concentrated on Colored Pencil, which has now become an accepted medium in the field of fine art. Working with Colored Pencil allows me to create detail that would be difficult with most other mediums. For instance, the intricate detail seen in my motorcycle paintings.
\nI have enjoyed the process of painting portraits of children and animals, getting to know their personalities and distinct features. I would love the opportunity to capture your loved one or prized possession on paper. All I need is a few photographs (or one good one) to create a treasured memory.<\/p>\n","url":"http:\/\/theartisticvision.com\/","url_text":"theartisticvision.com","main_services":"Fine Art, Portrait Painting, Pet Portraits, Commissioned Artwork","image_1":"https:\/\/diib.com\/featuredmembers\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/05\/placeholder.jpg","client_review":"website analysis","why_we":"","history":"","image_2":false,"image_3":false},"yoast_head":"\n
