Lena and her husband got their start in business by creating custom, 3D printed cookie cutters, and they experienced quick growth. In the midst of printing cookie cutters of celebrities\u2019 dogs and being invited to the Oscars, Lena and her husband found themselves in a difficult financial bind, unable to keep their home. Devastated but unwilling to give up, she found joy in attending various trade shows. It was at these trade shows that Lena realized their brand\u2019s success had come through her artistic marketing skill and ability to storytell with branding. This catalyzed the launch of Lena Designs Studio and its success allowed her family to regain their financial footing.<\/p>\n
When she\u2019s not working on another amazing brand design, you can find Lena putting her previous veterinary experience to good use and spending time with her 18 animals. She is passionate about animal rights and regularly participates in the rescue of discarded animals, including dogs, guinea pigs, cats, and hamsters. Lena has a real soft spot for greyhound racing dogs, especially the three forever furbabies she has adopted into her home. Though they sometimes take up the whole bed, her animals will always have a special place in her heart!<\/p>\n
She\u2019s also an avid collector of fun and memorable coffee mugs, but doesn\u2019t drink coffee! So, naturally, they become planters for the tiny succulents she buys half dead and revives in her spare time. In fact, Lena has rescued and revived plants from the clearance section at Home Depot and the local nurseries for so long, she has a mini-jungle growing throughout her home.<\/p>\n
Lena has a big heart, and her inclination to care for struggling plants and animals also spills over into the human realm as she is passionate about all things mental health \u2013 especially making sure people have access to the help and understanding they need in difficult times. Lena knows what it\u2019s like to struggle through periods of life, lacking family support and understanding, so she is always there for her friends or anyone who needs a listening ear.<\/p>\n
Lena loves a good mystery and is a real crime show junkie. In fact, she\u2019s watched every season of Criminal Minds at least three times over. It\u2019s her favorite night-time show to watch as she winds down at bedtime. And while her husband can\u2019t understand how it doesn\u2019t give her nightmares (LOL!), she loves it for the strong character development and focus on psychological profiling.<\/p>\n
